Desiree Khoueiry
Dipl. Ing. MSc
Structural Engineer

To consider the edifices of humanity over the centuries is to marvel at the ingenuity, creativity and audacity of the people who built our world.

A curiosity for how buildings are built, from the high-rise to the subterranean, bridges, tunnels and towers, led Desiree to study engineering.

She sought to understand the nature of the built environment, about how structures work, and how human creativity can bring an imagined world to life.

Her major area of expertise is structural dynamics and seismic analysis.

Her Masters’ research project centred on soil structure interaction under dynamic load, and designing seismic-proof structures.

At Price & Myers, she has extended her knowledge to include designing low embodied carbon structures joining the fight against climate change
