Since receiving a power drill for his 10th birthday, Joe has been designing and making things. It’s a childhood interest that led him to a career in engineering, designing structures that are buildable and well resolved.
Joe has spent much of his working life designing green oak buildings, even getting the opportunity to help erect one of his frame designs in the South West. He designs to minimise waste and maximise material efficiency.
Joe is a keen member of the creative design community, and can often be found in Manchester Hackspace developing prototypes for whatever idea has excited his interest. That passion has most recently led him to design and construct a large LED infinity mirror display that has been making appearances at night-time venues around the UK.
