In engineering, where theory meets practice is where the rubber meets the road. Ideas explored on paper have to be tested in the real world. Thomas initially wanted to be an architect, but he wanted to understand architecture from a scientific point of view, so a career in structural engineering made for a logical fit.
Thomas is passionate about computational design and takes every chance to integrate novel computational technologies into his work. He is notably skilled in parametric design and programming.
Thomas is also a certified Passivhaus designer.
