Tom was drawn to structural engineering by the practical problem-solving nature of the discipline. His experience covers a wide range of sectors and types, but his more recent work has seen him design complex refurbishments and basement projects, particularly within city-centre locations. Over the years he has built a strong methodical approach to understanding the overall project goals and constraints at the beginning of a project, which allows him to focus on the principles that matter most to clients and architects.
During Tom's spare time you'll find him enjoying some kind of sport, be it golf, tennis, running or coaching his son's rugby team.
He joined Price & Myers in 2005 and became an Associate in 2013.
