We are continuing our collaboration with Bridges to Prosperity for the third time by contributing £25,000 to the construction of a footbridge in rural Rwanda. The footbridge will provide a safe crossing for otherwise isolated communities to ensure they have access to education, health care, markets to trade and earn money, amongst other basic services.
For this build we are teaming up with our friends at Walter Lilly. In February 2020 both practices will be sending five volunteers to Rwanda to help construct the 85m Runyani footbridge.
The cost of the bridge has been jointly paid for by P&M and Walter Lilly and so the volunteering team are now fundraising to cover the cost of their expenses.
