We will protect the privacy of individuals when handling any personal information and ensure that we are compliant with relevant data protection and privacy laws by:
Being transparent and fair about the collection, use and disclosure of personal information. Only collecting personal information that is required for business purposes. Keeping personal information secure, accurate and up to date. Respecting the privacy rights of individuals granted by privacy laws.
Outcomes
In meeting the above objectives, we will:
Commit to keep abreast of all applicable data protection/privacy laws of the jurisdictions in which we operate.
Provide appropriate training and support to ensure that all personnel are aware of our obligations under this Policy and follow our data protection procedures when handling the personal information of others.
Implement relevant security procedures and issue guidance to staff explaining their data protection and security obligations.
Ensure individuals have the right of access to their personal data and, in some cases, the right to require us to restrict, erase or rectify it or to object to our processing it, and the right of data portability.
Ensure our privacy policy and guidance is clear, accessible and gives sufficient information about how we use and share personal information and how personal information can be updated or corrected.
Delete/destroy personal information no longer needed for its original business purpose unless we have a legal obligation to retain personal information for a longer period.

Environmental Policy
We recognise the need to study the effects of our actions on the environment, and to choose materials and construction methods that improve our environmental performance. To demonstrate our commitment this policy statement is publicly available on our website and to our staff in our intranet; confirming our commitment to the following:
Maintaining the BS EN ISO 14001 certification of our Environmental Management System; externally audited by QMS.
Our Work
Apply relevant environmental legislation and regulations where applicable.
Take account of environmental issues in the planning, design and implementation of projects in consultation with our clients and the rest of the design team.
Advise clients, where appropriate, of the environmental issues associated with our commissions so that environmental issues can be considered alongside technical and financial considerations in the delivery of services to clients.
Where possible and beneficial to the environment seek to repair and/or reuse buildings and materials on projects.
Strive to reduce the negative environmental impacts & enhance positive impacts of our project work by implementing our Climate Action Plan.
Our Engineering
Ensure that clients and design teams are aware of the available environmental choices and where possible and appropriate recommend the use of:
Appropriate site investigation including contamination assessment, environmental assessment/auditing
The use of sustainable drainage solutions and solutions to reduce risk of flooding
Materials and components from sustainable sources
Salvaged and recycled building components
Materials with low embodied energy and low CO2 emissions
Quality Policy

All staff understand these aims and are committed to delivering the highest quality standard of service to our Clients.
To plan the detail processes required to achieve these aims the practice has a Quality Management System, described in the Quality Manual, which meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2015 and is externally certified by a UKAS accredited Certification Body.
The Quality Manager and QA Manager are responsible for overseeing the Practice quality systems, monitoring their effectiveness and determining where improvements can be made. All staff are made aware of quality issues in accordance with the processes described in the Quality Manual and the Project Quality Assurance Handbook.
Our Practice
Seek to minimise significant environmental impacts of our activities through the progressive development of environmental management procedures as determined by our business needs.
Set targets for reducing energy use and related carbon emissions, water consumption and monitor and report our performance against these targets,
Work towards less use of office air-conditioning by understanding the office heating/cooling systems and adjusting settings which optimise comfort and energy use.
Maintain a green procurement strategy to ensure:
That the products we use at our offices i.e., stationery, cleaning products, food and beverages are, where possible, from environmentally responsible, local and fairly traded sources.
Where practical we buy electrical equipment with high energy efficiency ratings; 'A' rated, or better, electrical appliances; Energy Star rated computer equipment, including monitors, printers & copiers.
Recycle all our waste paper, plastic, cans, glass, batteries, toners and electronic equipment.
Provide cycle facilities where practical for staff and encourage staff to cycle by implementing the Government ‘Cycle to Work’ scheme.
Studios with canteen facilities provide lunch to our staff three days a week. This includes a vegetarian only menu on Mondays and at least 50% of menus are vegetarian on Wednesday & Fridays.
Review our environmental policy annually and amend as necessary in the light of changing circumstances.
