Ashmolean Museum
Oxford

We have been involved with the Ashmolean Museum since 2009.

The museum is one of the most important museums of its type and the oldest public museum in Europe.

Our first project involved the extensive remodelling of the Egyptian Galleries with Rick Mather Architects to enhance circulation around the crowded spaces.

As part of this work we instigated a detailed review of the archive drawings and specifications for the building held with the University Archives, dating back from the original Grade I listed Charles Cockerill construction in 1845.

We have since developed a detailed knowledge of the construction of the Ashmolean, and are now involved with the structural design of the museum's various temporary exhibitions.
