We have been involved with the Ashmolean Museum since 2009. The museum is one of the most important museums of its type and the oldest public museum in Europe. |
Our first project involved the extensive remodelling of the Egyptian Galleries with Rick Mather Architects to enhance circulation around the crowded spaces.
As part of this work we instigated a detailed review of the archive drawings and specifications for the building held with the University Archives, dating back from the original Grade I listed Charles Cockerill construction in 1845.
We have since developed a detailed knowledge of the construction of the Ashmolean, and are now involved with the structural design of the museum's various temporary exhibitions.
