Queen’s Court, London SE16

A new six-storey, 51 unit residential building in Bermondsey with Allenbuild. The new masonry clad, reinforced concrete framed building is directly over the Jubilee Line, leading to a prohibition on the use of piled foundations and the need to balance the total building weight relative to an original, large building that was demolished on the site. As well as being adjacent to a Network Rail viaduct and a Grade II listed Mill, the original building contained a large stone war memorial built into the existing façade, which was reinstated into the new building.

Completed 2015.
