Haunch of Venison Gallery, New Bond Street, London

Refurbishment and subsequent fitout of a gallery space involving works to a Grade II listed part of the building, installing new stair cores, demolition of a central area to provide a new atrium, and the excavation for a basement over two thirds of the site. The building is above the proposed Crossrail route and the basement required extensive discussions with Network Rail. Substantial temporary works were installed during the construction of the basement to support the existing building above. There was limited site access through a mews at the rear of the building.

Completed 2011.
