Highfield House, University of Nottingham, Nottingham

Grade II listed Highfield House is the earliest building on the campus of The University of Nottingham and until recently was the residence of the Vice Chancellor. The existing building has been refurbished and extended to include a new two-storey extension which houses the Post Graduate Resource Centre and IT suit and the new single-storey extension to the side houses an entrance and seminar room. The existing carriage house has been refurbished and the existing large and small courtyards roofed over to form a cloistered quad and a new internal circulation space respectively. The building has been rated BREEAM Excellent.
