HMS Belfast Visitors Centre, London

The original HMS Belfast ticket kiosk was demolished to make way for construction of a new shop, café and roof-top cocktail bar. The steel-framed building utilised the existing piled concrete jetty as its foundation projecting over the River Thames from Queens Walk, accessed via new steps and ramps. The roof-top deck provides views across the River to Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. A new steel, glass-balustraded bridge was added alongside the jetty to give separate access to the Ship, requiring strengthening and alterations to the original lattice truss gangway.

Completed 2013.
