IESSG GRACE Building, University of Nottingham, Nottingham

New building located in the University of Nottingham’s Innovation Park housing a training, research and business development facility for the Galileo Research and Applications Centre of Excellence (GRACE): Galileo is a European Union program for the development of Global Navigation Systems (GPS). The University’s Institute of Engineering Surveying and Space Geodesy and the Centre for Geospatial Science will also move to this building. The design incorporates an energy efficient air conditioning system that uses the building structure as an energy store. The building has been rated BREEAM Excellent.
