Johnson Building, Hatton Garden, London

This is a major redevelopment of New Garden House in Hatton Garden. The existing 1930s concrete encased steel framed building has been refurbished and a new eight-storey reinforced concrete building has been constructed in the central courtyard. Both areas feature the extensive use of reinforced concrete. The site was extremely restricted with buildings on all four sides of the courtyard and had limited access for incoming materials. The majority of the development is high specification office space, but also contains retail and residential accommodation.

Completed 2006.
