Macklin Street, London

Conversion and extension of two Victorian warehouse buildings into five-storeys of category A office space. The design team have worked closely with local conservation groups to modernise the building. The design includes glazing the existing arches at street level to ensure a more active street presence, with enlarged windows replacing the existing to maximise natural daylight. The site is directly above a Crossrail tunnel.

Completed 2013.
