Pamela Morris Building, St Clare's College, Oxford

The new technology building is a two-storey framed construction to the rear of a site with exposed timber and steel detailing. Structural detailing gave consideration to a site with limited access, with insufficient space for a site crane, within a conservation area with tree protection orders. The design also incorporated phased construction as the build required internal sections of the ground slab to be cast after the first floor and roof were constructed to allow for ongoing ground contamination treatment without impacting on program.

Completed 2014.
