Private Residence, London

Conversion of a seven-storey framed, stone clad office building with two levels of basement into a high quality single residential dwelling. The scheme involved construction of two additional levels of basement beneath the existing basements to house, amongst other things, a swimming pool. All existing hollow pot floors were replaced with new concrete decks capable of supporting the heavy marble finished required by the client. In addition, a subterranean car park has been built next to the building, assessed by a a car lift and linked to the residence via a tunnel.

Due for completion 2014.
