St Edward's School, Oxford

A conversion of a Victorian swimming pool into a new theatre. The existing building’s walls, swimming pool and mosaics will be retained and a new timber gallery, lighting bridges and stress skin roof added. The place itself will be filled with an adjustable rostra to create a flexible theatre space. The project also involves demolishing the adjacent 6th Form Centre and building a new dance and drama building linked to the new theatre.

Completed 2006.
