St Stephen's Church, London

Restoration of a Grade I listed church designed by Samual Teulon, which has stood empty for 25 years. The Nave piers are being underpinned and the ground under the Nave floor will be excavated to form a new undercroft to contain classrooms for the neighboring nursery school. The Nave floor will be rebuilt and used as the school hall and by the public, keeping in place parts of the tiled aisles by supporting them on steel needles with paving slabs between flanges.

Completed 2004.
