The Granary, Abbey Road, London

Part of a masterplan for redeveloping along the River Roding in Barking. An existing Malthouse built as a granary in the 1870s and subsequently used as, among other things, a paint store, was refurbished by removing later strengthened steels to leave the existing cast iron columns and upper floor structure as offices for Rooff. A new extension in reinforced concrete has a large sloping façade on one side clad in Tecu bronze.

Completed 2011.
