Treehouse Trust School, London

New centre to house a school and facilities for teaching ‘life skills’ to older people with autism; as well as educating parents and other teachers and doing fundraising work. The building is an RC framed structure with flat slabs on a former playing field site in Muswell Hill. It includes exposed concrete soffits, for natural ventilation and cooling, a curved concrete ‘green’ roof, and internal light shafts for day lighting and ventilation.
