Wilkinson School, Wolverhampton

Wilkinson Primary School is a new school constructed to PassivHaus standards procured through the BSF programme. This involves detailing the building to achieve exceptional thermal performance, air tightness and significantly reduce the heating and cooling demand of the building. The building is a two-storey timber frame construction, on a reinforced slab, on vibro-compacted ground with the site located over historic mine shafts.

Completed 2013.
