Throughout his time at Imperial College London, Jonathan completed summer placements with Buro Happold Engineering, Kajima UK, and Bouygues UK. After graduating, he joined the structural engineering group at Buro Happold Engineering's London office.
From 2009 to 2010, Jonathan returned to full-time education at UCL to complete an MSc in Construction Economics & Management. This led to a placement with KPMG conducting research into the flow of funds in infrastructure across the globe. He then joined Expedition Engineering in early 2011, and Price & Myers in late 2011. During 2013 he was seconded to Costain Skanska Joint Venture for six months to work on Crossrail's C360 site, helping coordinate enabling works for both tunnel shafts.
