Mohamed Seliem
MEng
Structural Engineer

Mohamed’s inquisitive nature and enjoyment of problem-solving stems from his childhood. It’s unsurprising. Growing up in Egypt with a view of the Pyramids of Giza from the family home would stir the imagination of any child.

From his bedroom window Mohamed could see the unique combination of creativity and technicality, both essential elements of structural engineering, rendered by the ancients.

Not every project comes with the scale and ambition of an Egyptian Pyramid of course, but each project comes with its own set of challenges. These challenges continue to drive Mohamed’s passion for structural engineering.

Mohamed believes what makes a good engineer is the ability to find elegant solutions to challenges, by continuously adapting to the constantly evolving nature of the construction industry.

When he’s not contemplating the mysteries of one of the Seven Wonders, Mohamed likes to spend time gardening, hiking, and in the gym.
