The beautiful Alice Hawthorn Inn, designed with De Matos Ryan, received another clutch of awards this week.
Not only the project has won an RIBA Yorkshire Award, but it has been recognised for its sustainable design and received an RIBA Yorkshire Sustainability Award. Thanks to the use of sustainably sourced timber, a ground source heat pump for heating and hot water, and airtightness levels and insulation standards, the project achieved an EPC ‘A grade’ low energy rating.
The Clients have been celebrated for their vision as well, being named the region’s Client of the Year.
