There is a bridge in rural Rwanda that spans an oft-flooded waterway, bringing together remote communities.
Last October, Price & Myers and Walter Lilly volunteers partnered with global charity Bridges to Prosperity to go to Rwanda to help build the Muza Trailbridge. Bridges to Prosperity works with local communities and company collaborators to build footbridges that gives residents safe access to critical resources, such as health care, education, trade, employment and social life.
In October 2022, the 68-metre suspended Muza Trailbridge was inaugurated only after a few short weeks of construction, and now provides safe access to over 10,000 residents of rural Kanyonza, Gaji, and Ryagasenyi in Rwanda.
Price & Myers would like to thank Bridges to Prosperity for providing this amazing opportunity for our team members. We would also like to thank the local community, and the Walter Lily and P&M volunteers, for bringing this vision to life.
