Finchley Progressive Synagogue has completed a considered renovation of its North Finchley home, centred on the introduction of a raised lantern roof that brings in natural light and creates a brighter, more open and welcoming space for worship, learning and community use.
Following consultation with a range of users and valued tenants by the synagogue team, the design responds directly to how the building is used day to day, improving the quality and flexibility of the internal environment. The result is a calm, uplifting setting that better supports services and activities, and reflects the congregation’s focus on inclusivity, connection and long-term sustainability.
