James is a chartered structural engineer with over 8 years' experience in the analysis and design of large and small structures. His portfolio consists of commercial and high-rise projects, rail and infrastructure, deep basements, private homes and multi-residential, staircases, sculptures, and modifications to existing buildings.
An experienced designer of reinforced concrete and structural steelwork, James also has a developing interest in timber and masonry. He strives to make all of his designs economical, efficient and buildable. He is passionate about minimising embodied carbon and ensuring the right material is used for the job.
James is technically astute and has delivered numerous successful projects for a range of clients. He enjoys working collaboratively and finding solutions to bring the architect’s aspirations to life.
