Sarah was born the daughter of two structural engineers, so perhaps there was an element of inevitability in her career path. It certainly gave her a head start. Her passion for design began at a very young age, and she really enjoys the process of turning a design concept to reality.
At university, Sarah collaborated on many joint student-design projects with the architecture faculty – ranging in scale from small sculptures to the retrofit of a 4,000sqm heritage-listed building.
Prior to university, Sarah spent a year working as a junior CAD technician at a structural engineering practice. She also spent the majority of her university placement year in the Project Management team on HS2.
The breadth of her study and work has given her a more rounded approach to her work and a deeper appreciation of the benefits of collaboration.
