Ben is a Structural Engineer and Associate at Price & Myers with over 15 years’ experience spanning projects from small-scale refurbishments to hyperscale data centres. He is passionate about sustainability and delivering lean, efficient designs.
Ben founded the internal Climate Action Group within Price & Myers, an internal task force driving structural change in design, promoting climate-first principles, and developing systems to reduce embodied carbon in everyday practice.
For the past six years, he has managed the creation of the industry-leading Price & Myers Embodied Carbon Database and has been collaborating with professional institutions, academia, and other consultancies to improve industry-wide coordination in benchmarking embodied carbon calculations.
Ben also led the development of the Structural PANDA software with the University of Cambridge, a tool now used across the industry to help design teams reduce embodied carbon at the earliest stages of their projects.
